RBI will launch new Rs. 100
Indian government and RBI( Reserve Bank of India) having a colourfull mood.
After demonetization on November 8, 2016, indian government presented two new coloured notes in India. Those were 'stone grey' colored Rs. 500 note along with 'magenta' Rs. 2000 note as a replacement of old Rs. 500 and Rs.1000 notes which were Banned.

Then another two newly coloured notes came in of Rs. 200 in 'bright yellow' and Rs.10 in 'Aqua' on August 2017.
Later on January 2018, the RBI introduced new Rs.10 in 'chocolate Brown' colour.
Now they are up with another new coloured note of Rs. 100. It will be lavender coloured note issued by RBI. They took the removal of "Black Money" seriously. the dimension of this note will be 66mm x 142mm
"The
base colour of the note is lavender. The note has other designs, geometric
patterns aligning with the overall colou style="background: whiter scheme,
both at the obverse and reverse. Dimension of the banknote will be 66 mm x 142
mm," the RBI said in a statement.
"All
the banknotes in the denomination of Rs. 100 issued by the Reserve
Bank in the earlier series will continue to be legal tender. As is normal, when
a new design of banknote is introduced, printing and supply of these notes for
distribution to public through the banking channel will gradually
increase," it added.
