Over 2 lakh Indians repatriated from 68 countries in last four years

The total number of Indian nationals in distress repatriated by missions or posts from May 2014 to May 2018 is 2,08,186, including those rescued from 96 countries. Loss of passport, landing in a country due to flight diversions, stuck due to natural calamity or terror attack, and abuse by the foreign employer are among the reasons of distress causing the repatriation.
